Terms & Conditions

1. Who we are

Bomber Boat is operated by Luck Dragon Pty Ltd (ABN 64 697 434 898) (“Bomber Boat”, “we”, “us”). We sell and organise supporter charter cruises to Essendon home games. The vessel and on-water operation are provided by our cruise operator, Yarra River Cruises (“the Operator”). By booking, you agree to these Terms.

2. Bookings & tickets

• Bookings are made at bomberboat.com.au. A booking is confirmed only once payment is received and you receive a confirmation email with a QR boarding pass.
• Your QR pass is your ticket — have it ready on your phone at the dock. It is scanned on boarding (and again for the return leg on a return fare).
• You are responsible for entering a correct email and phone number; we use them for your confirmation and a pre-sail reminder.

3. Fares & payment

• Fares are in Australian dollars and shown at checkout: $90 return / $55 one-way to the game / $35 return-leg only (adult); Under-18 $40 / $25 / $15.
• A return fare includes a drink on arrival, finger food, a cash bar on board, and the trip both ways. One-way fares cover the relevant leg only.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• Promotional offers (e.g. a free second drink for the first 20 aboard, or group rates) apply as described at the time of booking and are subject to availability.

4. Boarding

• Departure: Cafe Riviera, Maribyrnong. Board about 1.5 hours before the first bounce; arrive ~1 hour before to settle in. Your exact board time is on your ticket.
• The boat departs on schedule. Latecomers who miss departure are not entitled to a refund — please arrive early.
• Children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

5. Changes & cancellations by you

• Need to change or cancel? Email hello@bomberboat.com.au as early as possible.
• 7 or more days before departure: full refund or free transfer to another sailing.
• Within 7 days of departure: we'll transfer you to another sailing or issue a credit — no cash refund.
• Within 48 hours, or a no-show: non-refundable, but we'll do our best to help you transfer or on-sell your seat.

6. Changes & cancellations by us

• If we cancel a sailing (e.g. weather, water conditions, mechanical issues, or insufficient numbers), you will be offered a transfer to another sailing or a full refund.
• AFL fixture changes: if the AFL moves the game's date or time, we move with it and email everyone booked with the new details. If the new time doesn't suit you, you can transfer or get a refund.

7. Alcohol & responsible service

• Alcohol is served on board under the Operator's responsible-service obligations. You must be 18+ and able to show valid ID to be served.
• Service may be refused or stopped at the crew's discretion. No BYO alcohol.
• Intoxicated or disorderly passengers may be refused boarding or removed without refund.

8. Conduct & safety

• You must follow all instructions from the crew and Operator at all times — they have final authority on safety.
• We and the Operator may refuse boarding to, or remove, anyone who is intoxicated, unsafe, abusive, or who endangers others, without refund.
• Comply with all safety briefings and equipment requirements (e.g. life jackets where directed).

9. Liability

• Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.
• The on-water operation, vessel safety and seaworthiness are the responsibility of the Operator (Yarra River Cruises) and covered by their marine insurance.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bomber Boat's liability for any claim connected with a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
• Boating carries inherent risks; by boarding you accept the ordinary risks of a river cruise.

10. Privacy

We collect your name, contact details and booking information to process and manage your booking and to contact you about your sailing. Payment is handled by Stripe under their terms. We do not sell your data. To request access to or deletion of your data, email hello@bomberboat.com.au.

11. Photography

We may take photos or video on board for promotion. Let a crew member know, or email us, if you'd prefer not to be featured.

12. General

• We may update these Terms; the version current at the time of your booking applies.
• These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
